So, where are we in regards to those 13 pre-Antichrist signs? Using the analogy of the 'fig tree', which leaves are in full leaf? Which are not visible? Which are present but still nascent?
Below is a summary of my personal analysis of whether these signs have been present throughout history, from the crucifixion (33AD) until the present time (2021 AD), on the horizontal axis. I recommend processing the below image as follows:
First, look at the visual picture. Ignore the text. Look at the colours of the bars over time. In any particular timeframe ('column' or band on the horizontal x-axis), where you see a lot of green, that means a a lot of the signs present at that time. When you see a lot of red, it is the opposite.
Then, read the text next to each of the 13 signs which summarises briefly where we presently stand.
In summary, 4 conclusions:
These 13 pre-Antichrist signs are not yet all fulfilled. So history is not yet ready for the Antichrist to emerge (the 'rider on the white horse' of Revelation Ch 6)
All historical Christian generations that have felt certain that they were the generation to which Christ would return were certainly not pressure-testing that intuition against the biblical data. For example, the absence of Israel existing as a nation, in the land of Israel, should have given past generations pause to realise that - notwithstanding their circumstances must have felt like the end times and some aspects must have seemed like fulfilment of end times events (e.g. the Nazi regime and World War 2) - it was simply not biblically possible at that time.
However, since roughly the advent of the 21st century, we are living in the first time in history when it is feasible for all these signs to be fulfilled in our lifetime, and therefore for these end times events (commencing with Revelation Ch 6) to begin.
Even once all these signs are fully fulfilled, scripture gives us no clue as to how soon after that the 'ball will start rolling'. It could be centuries. Or it could be days.
For that reason, it is more important that we 'watch'. We must keep our eye on the fig tree so we know when it is in full leaf.
CONCLUSION:
We are living in the first time in history when it is feasible for the pre-Antichrist signs to be fulfilled in our lifetime, and therefore for these end times events (commencing with Revelation Ch 6) to begin. That is not to say they will be. But it is more important than ever that we 'watch'. We must keep our eye on the fig tree so we know when it is in full leaf.
